The College of Thelema of Northern California, and its initiatory Order, the Temple of the Silver Star, were founded by explicit warrant from Soror Meral (Phyllis Seckler), as a continuation of her life’s work. This warrant (displayed below) was given to our founding Chancellor prior to Soror Meral’s death in 2004. (The blacked-out portions conceal a word we traditionally keep private.)

The family of Phyllis Seckler has acknowledged the College of Thelema of Northern California as the sole legal custodian of Phyllis Seckler’s literary estate, library, and archives, pursuant to the stipulations of Ms. Seckler’s Last Will.
